Able Home Healthcare is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our growing team in San Diego, CA. Responsibilities:
- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to help patients improve daily living and fine motor skills
- Travel to patient homes throughout the San Diego area to deliver one-on-one care
- Document patient progress, treatment notes, and updates in compliance with home health regulations
- Communicate regularly with the supervising OT and interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status
- Educate patients and family members on home exercise programs and adaptive techniques
- Ensure a safe home environment by recommending assistive devices and home modifications
Requirements:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program
- Active COTA licensure in the state of California
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Previous home health or clinical OTA experience preferred
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication, documentation, and time-management skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

Compensation: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
